If snowshoeing is your speed, the Menihek trails are perfect for a winter trek, or strap on your shoes and head into the vast Labrador wilderness, our backyard! The Jean Lake trail in Wabush, which is partially groomed throughout the winter, is a five kilometre trek through thick, forested woods. The Tanya Lake trail in Labrador City, also partially groomed in the winter, is a three kilometre hike around picturesque Tanya Lake.

Snowshoers can also access the Menihek Nordic trails with the purchase of a day or season pass.
