New Light Counselling aims to offer private mental health services to the population of Labrador City, NL. My goal is to provide a comfortable, non-judgemental and easily accessible space for mental health development and community integration. Offering in-person and online mental health services broadens the reach and accessibility of my business. My goals for the future involve expanding into various areas of healthcare to create a holistic health practice. Being born and raised in Labrador City, in conjunction with my educational and employment experience, has given me a keen understanding of the issues and needs present in my community. Small town living can be difficult on mental health, resulting in struggles with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, isolation, and much more. Attending to a wide-range of mental health related issues, I am competent in my ability to effectively provide exceptional services and support to my community.
