Mitchell Marsh is a true Labradorian at heart.  He proudly calls Labrador City home, stemming from when his grandparents who moved here from Newfoundland in the mid 1960’s, laid their roots and still reside here today.   Mitchell and his partner, Michelle, are raising three children; Alex (10), Allison (7) and Chloe (7) who take pride in being an active family in the community taking part in a variety of community sports and activities.

Mitchell has been a Volunteer Fire Fighter in Labrador City for nine years; he served as Secretary of the Fire Fighters Association for one term and held the position of  President for three years.

Mitchell is well known in the community for his local musical entertainment and has preformed for many seniors functions, Relay for Life events, Canada Day celebrations, Encore Entertainment Musicals and countless more.

Mitchell is passionate about what Labrador City has to offer families; from starting out, to retirement & beyond.  Labrador City’s resources and natural beauty offers a lifestyle like no other.  As Deputy Mayor, Mitchell’s goal is to work for the residents and continue to provide them with new and innovate ideas that will last for generations to come.
