The Labrador West Rowing Association is based at Jean Lake in Wabush. They host the annual Labrador West Regatta the last Friday in July. This event is the second largest rowing regatta in Newfoundland and Labrador. The fun-filled day includes concession stands and live music while cheering on local athletes vying to cross the finish line first.
