Every couple of years in March in Labrador, Canada, something spectacular happens. For a shot at a $100,000 prize purse, a roster of teams race their snowmobiles across Labrador, encountering every imaginable misery the landscape relentlessly throws at them. Teams of two from all over the world will race backcountry, day and night, from checkpoint to checkpoint, in some of the harshest terrain on the planet. Their machines will fail, their strategies will change in the face of new obstacles and their mental and physical fortitude will be tested beyond comprehension. All of this on a stage that is nothing short of breathtaking.

That’s Cain’s Quest, the race that has redefined endurance snowmobiling in Canada.
