Fire Ban Remains in Effect For Labrador West
We are aware that the Provincial Fire Hazard Index currently lists our region as High. We would like to remind residents that the Fire Ban remains in effect within Labrador West.
All outdoor fires are prohibited, including:
- Campfires
- Backyard fire pits
- Fireworks
- Open burning
These restrictions remain in place to help reduce wildfire risk and protect our community, residents, and emergency responders.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and encourage residents to continue following all fire safety restrictions until further notice.
