Aerobic WALKING program for the community available for all ages. “FREE” WALKING sessions are 9:30 am on Mondays and Wednesdays, every week and Fridays when we can. You are asked to join our group on Facebook (WALKING AEROBICS – Salvation Army Gym) to confirm Friday workouts. It’s usually 30 minutes at beginner to medium intensity and for those more fit or want extra challenge, we do the little extra 15 minutes of high energy calorie burn. You are asked to work at your level always. Come along and try this!
The program is suitable for all levels of fitness from using cane, needing a chair or for those who can step it up by using weights.. we have foam pads to stand on if you have knee or back issues. ITS THE SOCIAL FUN AND COMMITTED TIME THAT WORKS..
Note: We aim to always to start the workout right on time in case you have other commitments, so please come a few minutes early early, you don’t want to miss the warm-up.
