The assessment is fully funded by the Provincial Government and will provide valuable information to support future wildfire mitigation, preparedness, and resiliency initiatives in the community.<\/p>\n<p>Survey results will help local leaders better understand residents\u2019 perspectives, concerns, and priorities related to wildfire risk. The information collected will help guide future Wildfire Resiliency and FireSmart planning, education, and action within the community.<\/p>\n<p>The survey will be open from\u00a0<strong>September 8 to September 25, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Residents are also encouraged to attend one of two public engagement sessions:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wildfire Resiliency Public Engagement Sessions<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>September 29 and 30, 2026<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>White Wolf Snowmobile Club<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The engagement sessions represent an important milestone in the wildfire risk assessment process. Following an initial site review, meetings with community leaders and stakeholders, and the completion of the public survey, the consulting team will share preliminary observations and gather additional input directly from residents.<\/p>\n<p>Public engagement is a key component of the assessment and will help ensure that final recommendations reflect both technical findings and the lived experiences of community members.
